Established in 2005 as an independent label, London based Anjunadeep is a deep house imprint boasting a smooth, stylish, and chic demeanor. Originally a sub-label for Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep has evolved its output to canvas the deeper end of the electronic music spectrum. 2014 was a year dominated by deep house. In accordance with this trend, are six tracks that highlight the evolution of Deep House and Anjunadeep’s footprint on the genre.

2014 YEAR END COUNTDOWN

Welcome to the 2014 Year End Countdown. This was the year of deep house, dominated by major labels such as Toolroom, Defected and Enormous Tunes. Many trends surfaced this year including increased 70s, 80s, and 90s vocal sampling, garage driven bass lines and funk fueled rhythms.
